Antarctic Peninsula 

Antarctica is one of the last places on earth that still holds unexplored terrain and the Peninsula is a ski mountaineer's paradise.

During the winters of 2000, 2001 and 2003, I traveled across the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula with the objective of skiing some of the many mountains that rise out of the icy waters.  On all three expeditions my partners and I were successful in making numerous first descents along the coast line.
